Connect Your Student Account
Link your student Google account so you can access and submit classroom assignments.

- You can sign in to Type the Word
- Your teacher shared an assignment in Google Classroom
- You are enrolled in the class using the same Google account you will connect
- Sign in to Type the Word.
- Go to
/classroom. - Find the Student Connection section.
Students use this card to connect their Google account.
- Click Connect as Student.
- Select your enrolled school Google account on the account chooser.
- Continue through the Google sign-in confirmation screen.
- Approve the Google Classroom consent prompt.
Use the same Google account enrolled in the class roster.
After redirect back to /classroom, confirm:
- Connected as Student
- Link to View dashboard
Connected state means your student token is ready for submissions.
- Click View dashboard.
- Confirm your courses are listed.
- Open a course to review available assignments.
- Return to
/classroom. - Click Disconnect Student Account.
- Confirm Connect as Student returns.
- No courses appear: You may be connected with the wrong Google account.
- Cannot start assignments: Confirm your teacher has published the assignment.
- Not enrolled errors: Ask teacher to verify your enrollment in Classroom.
- Prompt says connect student account first: Reconnect on
/classroomand retry.
